I am a founding partner at Splinter Group, a Cambridge-based technology incubator. Previously I was a VP of Engineering at Lucidworks and the CTO of Twigkit (acquired by Lucidworks in 2017).
Before Twigkit, I did research in theoretical computer science at the Cambridge Computer Laboratory, focusing on topics in descriptive complexity and graph theory. I did my PhD in the theory group at the Computer Lab under the supervision of Professor Anuj Dawar. Prior to that I completed Part III of the Mathematical Tripos at the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics at Cambridge and a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Iceland. I've co-authored four textbooks on enterprise software development (application design, data handling and processing).
I am @bjarkiholm on Twitter and you can find my full CV on LinkedIn.
